he Multiples Club for a play date at Katie Lynes's House. It was a beautiful spring day!! When we ar
rived the we were greeted by Katie and Jennifer Coons who were playing with the kids. The kids all had a great time swinging and playing around. More people trickled in and after a while we had a great group. While we were there we all
enjoyed a lovely picnic and the kids had a great time!!
hen I arrived, there were a few other there and we enjoyed visiting as everyone arrived. We all enjoyed tons of yummy snacks and visiting, along with the movie. I have to say, it was not my normal type movie pick, but it was worth seeing =)
met at the Greenville Zoo for a play date. Included int he list were Katie Lynes + boy twins, Jenn Osborns + boy/girl twins, Jenni Bahti + boy/girls triplets, Latosha Anderson + boy/girl twins, Elizabeth Lolis + boy twins and older boy, and me with the thr
ee girls. It was quite the crowd and it l
ooked like we brought the Zoo to the Zoo =) Once everyone was there, we enjoyed a beautiful stroll around the Zoo and even managed to get a group shot of the entire group of kids which was quite the feet with that many little ones. In addition, we hit all the kids favorite, the playgrou nd at the top of the Zoo. As lunch was approaching we headed out and ventured to McAlisters Delli on Congaree Rd for lunch.
al, the playground inside the Zoo was the big hit. After the Zoo, we all headed to
Chick-fil-a for some lunch and more play time =)
gnment sale on March 6th. Around 11, my Dad came over to our house, helped me load my piles of stuff to sale high attop his truck, and then he watched the kids while I headed to the bank in order to pick up the change for the sale. In usual fashion, I am always shocked at how much I have to sale and this year was no exception as Daddy's truck was stuffed inside and out and the toddler beds were strapped to the top of the pile/roof. I drove very slowly
to the bank and then on to the Church where I met up
with Leah. Since there were enough people to go help me pick up the rack, LEah stayed at the Church to help set up and wait for people to arrive. Three other girls and I headed for the UHaul place, I picked up the truck, and then we headed to the storage facility to pick up the racks. With all the extra helpers (usually just Leah and I) it went quickly and we were on the way back to the Church. When we arrived, I backed in the
truck and we started to unload the racks and th
en assemble them. The afternoon flew by as usual as people started coming to drop off their stuff. Before we knew it, it was time for the sale to start. Althoguht it was the usual mad dash, we didn't have nearly as many people as usual. We had lots of fun talking to people and working our tails off trying to make it all work. Things went great and we were able to get out of the Church in record time. Several of us then went downtown to Mellow Mushroom for pizza. I finally rolled home and in bed by about 1 and then back up early the next morning in order to be back at the Church by 7:30. Unlike Friday night on the memebers only night, we had record turn out on Saturday and we very pleased that the sale was a huge sucess!!
Emily, Ansley, Bailey and I headed to Pump it Up around 10:45 for the family party for UMOMC. Unfortunately John was out of town, so it was just the four of us. When we arrived, we were greeted by a huge crowd. We had amazingly had the largest turn out ever for a family party which it huge since we normally have tons of people anyway!! After we made it in to the arena, Emily was off and playing in the round jump house as the little ones and I made our way in there. Bailey jumped like crazy, but Ansley was not sure at first. After staying in the round one a few minutes, Ansley and I decided to head out to take a break since she was not that in to it. Emily also had headed out since she spotted Brianna, her new found buddy. After watching Bailey for a little bit, Ansley decided she wanted to do the big slide, so we manage to get Bailey out and the three of us worked out way to the slide. Amazingly wit
h Ansley in one arm, because 1/4 of the way up she decided she would rather be carried vs. climb, hanging on with the other, and trying to make sure Bailey held on, we slowly made our way to the top of the big slide. The three of of whisked down the slide with giggles all around. As most know, it can be quite the work out to get to the top, so I was thinking we would go play somewhere else. Needless to sa
y, both girls egged for "one more time". That is both their latest expressions. Needless to say, it really does not mean, one more time =)
aged the feat of making it to the top again, when they blew the whistle and it was time to change rooms. When we made it over to the other room, the three of them wanted to go in the jump house for a little bit, but it was soon off to the big slide in that room. All four of us made it down and then Emily was off again to play with her friends. The little ones convinced me for "one more time" about four more times when I was spent. I managed to get them off the slide and over to the other side of the arenas for a few minutes before they were heading to the obstacle course. We were defiantly mice in a cage as we crawled up, down, over and around in the course until finally making it down the slide.
we luckily moved on to the play cars and the girls enjoyed playing on the floor a while until it was our turn for pizza. As we walked the hall to the party room, they all were chanting "pizza" and managed to down at least two slices each and Emily managed four with chips. Once they were done we packed up and headed to the house to meet Daddy for him to keep Ansley and Bailey since Emily had two birthday parties to attend in the afternoon.
order to go bowling.
The eight of us split into two teams and had a great time!! The big shocker was Sarah Ortiz scoring a big 160 =O Not to mention Tammy and I both scored 135. Who knew our group of pitiful bowlers would do so well. It took us over an hour to bowl one game so we decided to call it quits after that and head for dinner.
to arrive. Once a good crowd had arrived, Leah talked to the group to welcome everyone, Katie said a prayer, and then everyone headed for the line to serve their plates. In order to let Anne Marie get a plate, Amy held her 6 week old for her. When Amy needed to head to the restroom, I got the pleasure of taking over as baby
holder.
tle of soap from Tammy Ryback. However, the soap was stolen right away. Once it was stolen, I decided to go for one of the bottles of wine. Throughout the game, my item continued to get stolen and I went back and forth about stealing the soap or the wine. In the end, I wound up with the bottle of soap. After the game was up, we all enjoyed visiting and after most of the crowd cleared out, the board and I stayed around until 11 to thoroughly clean the club house so that we could get back our security deposit. It was a great night!!
s Night Out in November, we went to Cafe and Then Some on Thursday night, November 13th. When I arrived around 7, I was greeted in the parking lot by Jen Osborne and Amy Larsen. We all headed into the cafe and met up with Angie, Leah, and Katie who were at our table right up front. We all took a seat and enjoyed the usual conversation as the group filtered in. Due to everyones' schedules being so busy, I think we had a great turn out with 11 moms. Our waitress came around and took our orders and we all enjoyed our meals and conversation before the show. Around 8:15, the show, Blue Christmas started. It included the usual cast of Susan Smith, Maureen Abdalla, Traysie Amick, and Jim Wilkins, plus and returning member of the cast J. Michael Craig.
ust before Halloween, Blue Elvis dropped in on Norma Jean and Dot (the main characters). Before they knew what happened, Elvis decided to stay with ’em through the holidays. We’re talking about the good-eatin’ holidays—the ones that keep them porked up from Halloween candy to Thanksgiving turkey, from Christmas hams to collards with blackeyed peas on New Year’s Day—they entered the Holiday Food Zone, with Blue Elvis as their guide. It was a spoof on not only self control from over eating, but with the credit crisis currently going on. Although it was in the early stage of the show where they are still using the script, it was just too f
unny!!!!
over, we all gathered up towards the stage for a group picture before heading home. What a fun night!!
er 11th, the Fall Party for the Upstate Mothers of Multiples Club was held at the Welcome Ranch in Wilamston, SC. Since the party was at 12:30, John stayed at home with Ansley and Bailey, while Emily and I headed to the party. When we arrived, there were some people there so we headed over to the picnic area to visit. The kids all played around while we waited for the rest of the group to arrive and for the riding portion
of the party to begin. After playing with the other kids and it warming up some, Emily took a rest on a rock. It was just too cute =) Lu
ckily, I brought her a short sleeve shirt so we went and changed her shirt real quick and before we knew it, it was time for the introduction to the riding portion of the party. All the kids were excited and after hearing the rules, they
quickly files over to the riding ring and got in line. For her first turn, Emily was very excited and asked me to come with her. So we hopped up on the horse and had a great ride around the ring. She loved it so much, she was of course excited to get right back in line to take another turn. The next go around she was all by herself on another horse and though
t it was absolutely fabulous!! When the ride was over, she even talked the head lady in to carying her back over to the end of the line. Pitiful, but too cute =)

all wanted to play a little and then we headed back to the line for more riding. Before the riding portion of the party was over, Emily even rode
Chocolate, the miniature horse. It was amazing how big she looked on him, compared to when she had ridden him at her 2nd birthday.
r the food and cupcakes were done, the kids played some
more while the party people got set up for the next portion of the party. First the brought in the trick horse who did things like bow. After the
trick horse, came the donkey. Which was a big hit for all the kids and finally a bird who took turns sitting on their heads. The kids absolutely loved it!!!

An adventure in the lives of Lindsey, Emily, Ansley, Bailey Jefferson, and the cat June and dog Pup Pup.
