Michelin Easter Egg Hunt

Unfortunately, on Saturday morning we awoke to a rainy day. However, the Michelin annual Easter egg hunt was planned for rain or shine so we proceeded over to Pelham Rd around 9:30. John had to work to get ready to go out of town Monday, so me and the girls met up with Mom and Dave in the parking lot at Michelin. When we arrived, there was a break in the rain so we headed to the front entrance of the building. They had moved the animals under the awning due to the rain. Emily really loved feeding the baby goats. Fortunately they were hungry, so they were all anxious to drink the milk. Soon, Laura, Scott, Alyssa, and Ashton arrived so we paused for a group photo of the kids.

Soon, it was time to head inside and get ready for the hunt. While mom and Bailey waited in line, Emily, Ansley, and I made our way around to a few of the games. First was basketball, then tossing rings, then leap frog. I think the frog game was Emily's favorite. We were unaware the hunt started, so we played a few games and accidentaly missed it. With the rain, it was really short in the rooms they had set up. Once we realized it had just started, we walked over to the room and everyone was filing out. They had a bag of eggs and they gave Emily some. After eggs, we waited in the line to see the Easter bunny. Bailey was really curious about the bunny and kept trying to play with his nose. Ansley and Emily were very into the slinkies they had gotten, so no one really decided to pose for the pictures. After that we made our way around for some more games, snack, and then to the bounce house on another level. Things had gotten nice outside, so they were moving things back outside.

We headed outside where Emily wanted to ride the train. While Emily, Bailey, and Mom rode the train, Ansley and I watched them go around the parking lot. On their way back, I happen to see a girl I know from the Multiples Club, Suzanne Tintenger. We visited a little bit while Emily, Mom, and Bailey say the fire truck and the goats.

We hung around for a little while longer for Emily to play some more games, before packing up and heading home. It was a lot of fun!!
